Can I wear shoes in the park?
We do suggest you wear comfortable sandals or aqua shoes; however, shoes are not allowed on any of our slides. We don’t recommend street shoes. "Heely" and "Rollies" style shoes are not permitted. Wheels must be removed or retracted from shoes.
Can we bring our own food and drink into the park?
Food, beverage and coolers may not be brought inside the park. Water in clear, plastic bottles is allowed. You may bring soft sided coolers to store your water bottles, no hard sided coolers are allowed in the water park. You’re also welcome to pack your own picnic lunch to enjoy in our picnic area located outside of the water park. Please pack a cooler and leave in your car until you're ready to eat. Barbeque grills are NOT allowed. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere outside in the picnic areas. Alcoholic beverages are sold inside the park at Casa Grande and Riverside Grille.

Are there changing rooms, showers, and lockers available?
Our Bathhouse is equipped with showers and changing facilities. All day lockers are available on our Locker Deck located by Guest Services and can be rented for $10 per day, which includes a refundable $5 key deposit. The lockers measure 16" x 12" x 12".
Are tubes available?
Tube Rentals – We provide tubes free of charge for all attractions that require a tube. We do not supply free tubes for the great wave Wave pool. You may rent our single or double tubes for use at the great wave. Single tubes rent for $5.00 including a refundable $1.00 deposit, double tubes rent for $7.00 including a refundable $1.00 deposit.
Is there a charge for parking?
Parking is $5.00 per vehicle, school and charter buses park for FREE.
Are life jackets provided?
Life jackets are provided (no charge) on a first-come, first-served basis. They are for small children and non-swimmers. They may be picked up at Tube Rental. You are welcome to bring your own coast guard approved life jacket.
What happens if I get separated from my party?
To avoid becoming separated from your party, make arrangements to meet at a designated area before you begin your day. If your small child gets lost, please go to Guest Services or contact the nearest staff member.
Do you have a dress code?
Appropriate swim attire required; no cut-off denim or jean shorts, provocative, thong or thong-like bathing suits, swim attire with rivets, buckles, belts or metal ornaments. Appropriate swim attire rules are strictly enforced. Failure to comply with any part of the dress code may result in ejection from the park without refund.
Can my small child wear diapers?
For safety of all guests, children three (3) years and younger must wear a swim diaper when in the water. We also sell swim diapers in the Port of Call Gift Shop.
What are the behavior rules?
Foul language and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. No alcohol, weapons, knives or firearms are allowed in the premises. No running, spitting, or throwing of objects permitted. No solicitation or distribution of literature on park property. Each Guest must also comply with the Rider Responsibility code as mandated by the State of Illinois.
How do I re-enter the park once I leave?
Be sure to have your hand stamped at the Front Gate as you leave if you wish to return to the park that day.

Can we bring our own rafts or tubes?
You may bring floatation devices, within certain guidelines. No automobile inner tubes are allowed; double rafts, large animal floats or devices over 6 feet in length are allowed. No floatation is permitted in Itty Bitty Surf City or Tree House Harbor.
Do you offer coupons/discounts on admissions tickets?
Ticket discounts are available every day when you bring an empty Pepsi can or Bunny Bread wrapper to our ticket booth. Do you have First Aid personnel?
Splashin Safari is committed to ensure the safety of our guests. The park employs certified American Red Cross Lifeguards and is staffed by certified EMTs during operating hours and during any special function. First Aid is located just past the Port of Call Gift Shop.
What is the smoking policy?
Splashin Safari is a non-smoking park; however, you may smoke in the parking lot where benches are provided.

What happens in case of rain?
Rain checks will be issued only if the park is closed due to bad weather. No rain checks will be issued within one (1) hour of closing. No cash refunds will be issued.
